What is diamond clarity?
Diamond clarity refers to the presence of internal and external characteristics, known as inclusions and blemishes, within a diamond. These characteristics are a result of natural processes that occur during the diamond’s formation deep within the Earth. Clarity is one of the four Cs of diamond grading, along with cut, color, and carat weight, that determine a diamond’s overall quality and value.

Does Diamond Color Matter?
It’s important to note that while diamond clarity is a significant factor in determining a diamond’s value, it doesn’t necessarily correlate with a diamond’s beauty. Inclusions and blemishes can be viewed as unique identifying characteristics that make each diamond one-of-a-kind. They can also serve as a way to authenticate a diamond’s natural origin.
When selecting a diamond, it’s essential to strike a balance between clarity and budget, considering that diamonds with higher clarity grades generally command higher prices.
